BCT Group has been awarded the Caring Company Logos from The Hong Kong Council of Social Service (HKCSS) in regards of its commitment in corporate social responsibility. Bank Consortium Trust Company Limited (“BCTC”) and BCT Financial Limited (“BCTF”) are the awardees for 15 and 7 consecutive years respectively.
Ms. Iris Lam, Head of Human Resources at BCT Group received the awards from Mr. Chua Hoi Wai, Chief Executive of the Hong Kong Council of Social Service.
Driven by our commitment to serve the community, BCT colleagues have over the years contributed their time, skills and knowledge in building a harmonious society through organizing, mobilizing, and participating in various volunteering activities. We are very pleased to be awarded the Caring Company logos for its recognition of our ongoing efforts to care for the community, employees, as well as the environment.
Launched in 2002, the Caring Company Scheme (the Scheme) aims at cultivating good corporate citizenship. It is specifically geared to building strategic partnerships among businesses and non-profit organisations to create a more cohesive society. Besides cultivating corporate social responsibility, the scheme also endeavors to promote partnership between the business and the social welfare sectors.
